with Northern India as its core market. Our philosophy has been to offer transportation
services well above present industry standard being sophisticated enough to save
customer’s transportation needs but personal to meet individual requirements.
We achieve this by providing consistent, reliable, personalized and
professional services at competitive rates. We continually improve our systems to
ensure the best possible services and our management has years of experience in
the logistics industry and can offer clients expert knowledge of local and international
markets and regulations.
Facilitating the transportation process for own customers in our state
of art computer system enabling us to monitor each shipment worldwide. This, with
our strong relations with both Airline and Shipping Lines ensure consistent service
and prompt attention, even during peak seasons. We value constant communications
with accessible via direct telephone, fax, e-mail and mobile phone.
Ever scouting for new horizons in logistics, scan ventured into container
leasing in 1995 by representing CAI in the northern Indian region soon to be followed
by FLORENS. In liaison with our principals, containers are leased to various shipping
companies giving Scan added strength in the market.
Scan handles both FCL and LCL cargo worldwide, we also offer bonded
and secure facilities, provide packing, palletization, sorting and storing capabilities
as well as distribution, we also undertake time sensitive shipments from parcels
to large projects.
Scan India Cargo became a Private Limited
Company in the year 1993 and our experience and dedication to customer satisfaction
ensure smooth and efficient international transportation.
Although customs brokerage activities were in operation since 1985,
with expanding operations Scan Forwarders Pvt. Ltd. the brokerage arm came into
existence in 1996 to facilitate smoother flow of goods, both in and out of the country
in the global era. Under its aegis consultancy on import policy, customs, excise
procedures, duty structures, licensing are offered to clients to make the entry
into India as smooth as silk.
