Australia's eight states and territories span three time zones. In West Australia (Perth), DST is not practiced; use EST throughout the year, but subtract 2 hours. In Queensland (Brisbane) DST is also not practiced, so use the EST throughout the year. South Australia practice DST, but subtract 30 minutes from both DST and EST figures. For Tasmania (Hobart), EST finishes on 1 October not 27 August. For Victoria (Melbourne), NSW (Sydney) and ACT (Canberra) use the figures as shown. DST applies before and after the EST period shown.
2. Indonesia covers three time zones. Times shown above are for Jakarta.
3. In New Zealand, DST applies both before and after the 19 Mar to 1 October period.
